Sergio Aguirre, M.Sc. - CEO and founder
A pioneer in stereoscopic 3D systems, Sergio has over 15 years of experience in visualization systems. Prior to forming EchoPixel, Sergio developed one of the first stereoscopic 3D video systems and successfully commercialized its use as a solution in chemical, geography information and oil well visualization. Sergio has been awarded numerous recognitions in entrepreneurship and technology development.



Bill Carrano - Chief Commercial Officer
Bill has more than 30 years of professional experience in the medical device industry and has been a driving force in the introduction of innovative technologies in the rapidly evolving area of medical imaging. Most recently, as the leader of Strategic Business Management of GE Healthcare Ultrasound. In addition, he implemented strategies to significantly grow market share by leveraging National Health Systems and solutions based on rapidly changing customer workflow needs.



Michael Gabler - Chief Operating Officer
Michael has been involved with start-up companies since 1983 when he and his partners founded a company to design and build equipment to test semi-conductors. Additional stints were spent in development and management functions at EPRO Test Systems, Aptix and Profluent. Most recently, he worked at ZONARE Medical Systems, which was later acquired by Mindray. At Zonare, a pioneer in ZONE Sonography™ medical ultrasound systems, Michael worked his way through the ranks from design engineer to later running engineering. Michael joined EchoPixel in March of 2015 to help build the operations, regulatory and quality systems functions.



Ron Schilling, Ph.D. - Executive Chairman
Ron has 35 years of operating and general management experience in the medical device and technology industries, at Toshiba, Diasonics and General Electric. He was a director at Stentor at 2007 when it was sold to Philips. He also teaches business strategy at Stanford and serves on several corporate boards in the medical field. Ron earned his B.SC. EE from City College of New York, his M.Sc. from Princeton University, and a Ph.D. from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University.
